About this Project

Astute Surveyors were appointed as Contract Administrator for the external repair and redecoration to the rear elevation of 2-9 Cambridge Gate, a Crown Estate Property, which is located on the edge of Regent’s Park.

We undertook a survey of the property, and then prepared a detailed specification of works. After undertaking a competitive tender process, we oversaw the works, which were partly undertaken by specialist abseil contractor, using rope access techniques.  The works involved the redecoration of previously painted surfaces along with timber, masonry and asphalt repairs.

We were also engaged to prepare a Capital Expenditure Report and Plan for the fourth coming 10-year period.

 This is a detailed assessment of a property’s condition, identifying future maintenance needs and outlining the projected costs for significant repairs or upgrades over a 10-year period.
